Creative Cities Network and Estonia

UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) was created in 2004 to promote cooperation with and among cities that have identified creativity as a strategic factor for sustainable urban development. As of November 2017 UCCN is formed by 180 Members from 72 countries covering seven creative fields: Crafts & Folk Art, Design, Film, Gastronomy, Literature, Music and Media Arts.

The second largest city of Estonia Tartu joined UNESCO Creative Cities Network in 2015 as a City of Literature.
